Christmas is approaching at lightening speed, and for those of us who are super unorganised, it’s about now that we start to realise we haven’t got a single gift, or a single clue, of what to get people.
This year, I decided to write gift guides full of both unique & conventional style products so that people are able to find something for every member of their family without the hassle of internet browsing for hours.
In this gift guide, you’ll find products suitable for women, men, alcohol drinkers, stationery lovers and even the vegans of the family:
Sunflowers by Elizabeth Arden is the perfect classic scent for your mother, or grandmother this Christmas. This gift set from Perfume Click has both a 100ml bottle of perfume and a body lotion to match. Perfume is such a great gift idea because every woman loves perfume, and Perfume Click have every scent you could think of at such affordable prices.
Personalised gifts are also up there for me with one of the best gifts you can give. Nothing is as unique and thoughtful as a personalised gift. I actually chose this book mark for my Nanna as a gift off our children, as she loves to read and I know she will appreciate it every time she picks up a book. The quality of the engraving is amazing and I can’t wait to see her face when she receives it! The GiftPup website is full of unique items that can be personalised to say whatever you want them to, and also has a selection of other gifts too.
Another personalised item which is, again, a fantastic gift for all members of your family. Photo books from VistaPrint. The books are fully customisable to include every picture you would like, and you also have an option of what size, what type of cover you’d like, the finish of the pages, everything. I had these made for both of my grandparents who don’t have social media, so can’t keep up with all the latest pictures of my children. I know they both will love them.
The perfect women’s stocking filler gift. Give the gift of alcohol with this luxurious bottle of Chambord Raspberry Liqueur. It pairs beautifully with gin & lemon, or makes a wonderful addition to any cocktail. The bottle is so fancy looking I’d be half tempted to keep it on display, even after I had drank it! This 20cl bottle retails in most supermarkets for £6-8.
For the hard working women in your life. SEAMS hand cream is the leading hand cream for women, and would be perfect for those family members of yours who are always on the go. It has a non-greasy, quick drying formula and is widely known for its deeply moisturising properties and is loved by many! I am actually going to give this to my wonderful stepmother who is never away from her sewing machine and knitting needles, so it makes the most fitting gift.
Another great stocking filler gift – for those tired parents or over-worked colleagues. The Better You magnesium sleep lotion is clinically proven to improve sleep quality, and supports a restful nights sleep. Just what we all need after the festive celebrations! Better You also offer a version for children, so be sure to check out their website if you want to give the gift of sleep!
For The Stationery & Art Lover:
This beautifully thick Doodler pad has an idea on every page, so you can draw something every single day of the year. Paired with the Blanca Gomez pencils and patterned tape, these would make perfect stocking filler gifts for the arty teen, or office doodler in your life. They’d also make brilliant secret santa gifts too!
Another one of my favourite Christmas present ideas – personalised coloured pencils. I am actually gifting these to my younger sister, who isn’t quite a ‘child’ & isn’t quite a ‘teen’. She’s obsessed with stationery and I know she will love showing off her own unique engraved pencils as soon as she gets back to school.
For the more sophisticated artist – the gorgeous professional Derwent procolour pencil wrap. With 24 beautiful shades to create any picture, and a handy wrap for travelling, these would make a fantastic ‘main’ present for an art student niece, or a friend who loves to paint. Derwent do some fantastic quality art supplies so I would certainly recommend checking out their website for more ideas.
It wouldn’t be a Christmas Gift Guide without a Gilette Razor. These Mach3 gift sets are limited edition so you’ll have to be quick if you want to get your hands on one! They have a beautiful sleek look, and the set includes a unique chrome handle and a stand for the razor itself. This retails at only £11.99, and is perfect for both a main present and a stocking filler.
As above, Perfume Click don’t only offer perfume for women, but also aftershave for men too. There are endless scents to choose from, but one of my favourites for men is Cool Water by Davidoff. This set includes a 75ml bottle of aftershave, a bottle of shower gel, and also an aftershave balm. At such amazing discounted prices, you’d be silly to order from anywhere else!
For a more unconventional lager choice, Celia Dark Czech lager is a vegan friendly, gluten free option. Their website describes them as having ‘a distinctive coffee like aroma with slightly nutty and rye bread undertones’. With only 175 calories in a bottle too, I can totally see how they’d make a perfect festive drink in front of the TV with a mince pie!
For a more entertaining gift this Christmas, why not buy a ‘Make Your Own Lager’ kit from FindMeAGift? This set comes with a keg to make the lager in, two pint glasses and some coasters, so you can have a real pub experience at home. All you have to do is add water, and then 72 hours later it is ready to drink! I know so many men in my life who would LOVE this as a gift. I’m sure they will be fighting over it.
Chocolate (Vegan & Non Vegan)
Who’d have thought we could ever live in a world where vegan chocolate would taste as nice as normal chocolate? Well we do… say hello to the chocolate gift for your vegan friends! These Ombar nutty chocolate bars are filled with a truffle centre which makes them melt in your mouth. They are also organic and ethically sourced, and free of refined sugar, so you don’t even have to feel guilty after you have ate the full lot! They’re smaller than average sized bars, so would make the perfect stocking filler.
For a more extravagant Christmas gift idea, how about giving one of these beautiful Doisy & Dam chocolate hampers to a loved one? They offer vegan and non-vegan options, and have such unconventional (but delicious!) flavours. I must admit I have ate the majority of the contents already and can’t begin to tell you how beautiful they all are. There are lots of different options and flavours available on their website so definitely have a look for more option!
